THE SPECIFICS

FROM MIND TO PAPER
OUR MISSION
At JOTTED, our mission is to create tools that support clarity—in chaos, in calm, and everything in between.
The Origin Journal is our first release. It's not about perfection or performance—it's about progress. Designed with flexibility in mind, it offers just enough structure to keep you grounded, with the freedom to use it your way.
For the early mornings and late nights.
For the wins, the setbacks, and the quiet in between.
For moments when you feel inspired—and for the days when simply showing up is enough.
We believe the origin of your next chapter, your greatest win, your fondest memories, or your biggest dream could begin on the pages of the Jotted Origin Journal.
THE ORIGIN STORY

Hello, I'm Stephen, with a PH—the creator of Jotted.
This journal was born during a deeply personal turning point. After being diagnosed with Chiari Malformation—a neurological condition where the brain presses into the spinal canal, causing debilitating symptoms, my day-to-day life changed. I quit wedding photography, stopped traveling as much as I used to and even simple routines became uphill battles. So the necessity to fund surgery pushed me to finally act on a vision and dream I had been too afraid to act on before.
Journaling became a lifeline. But over time, using scattered methods—or trying to design my own layouts—left me overwhelmed. Even as a creative, I’d lose the plot. I’d tire out, and the very tool that was supposed to bring focus started to drain it.
So I built what I needed: a minimal journal with just enough structure to guide—but the space to make it ones own.
Whether you're a list-maker, a tracker, a note-dumper, or a free-form thinker—Jotted lets you write your own rhythm.
It began with my story. Now it's here for yours.

F.A.Q
What kind of journal is this?
The Jotted Origin is a six-month undated journal designed for intentional living. It blends structured planning tools with open dot-grid pages for creative freedom — helping you move from mind to paper and from paper to action.
How many pages are in the journal?
There are 248 numbered dot grid pages in total — thoughtfully arranged to include monthly focus spreads, habit and goal trackers, weekly planning pages with daily columns, reflections, and free space to jot freely.
What size is the journal?
The journal measures approximately A5 size (5.8 x 8.3 inches) — the perfect size for your desk, bag, or bedside table.
What’s the paper like?
We use 120gsm high-quality cream-colored paper to minimize bleed-through and ghosting. It’s smooth and made to handle pens, highlighters, and markers with ease.
Is the journal dated?
No — it’s undated by design. You can start whenever you’re ready. Take breaks when needed, and pick it back up without wasting pages.
What kind of binding and cover does it have?
Jotted Origin features a case-bound, hard cover wrapped in charcoal grey linen for a sleek, timeless feel. It also includes two ribbon bookmarks to easily mark your place, and a back pocket for loose notes and mementos.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. Whether you're new to journaling or a seasoned planner, the Origin is designed to meet you where you are. It can be used as simply and minimally as you’d like — or expanded into a more complex system if that’s what serves you best.
